We invest in our people from day one. All new hires receive paid, hands on training that prepares them for real world moving jobs. Training covers correct furniture wrapping techniques, damage prevention, safe lifting practices, organized packing methods, and proper assembly and disassembly of furniture. The goal is simple. Every move should be efficient, safe, and professional for both the customer and the crew.

Applicants must have a valid government issued photo ID or a driver’s license. Candidates applying for driving positions must be at least 23 years old, hold a valid Illinois Class C license, and maintain a clean driving record. A medical card is preferred but not mandatory.

All applicants must successfully pass a background check and cannot have felony convictions. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift and carry items weighing more than 75 pounds on a regular basis throughout the workday. Drivers are expected to assist fully with moving tasks and are not limited to operating the truck alone.

Team members are responsible for properly packing, protecting, and moving customer belongings including furniture, boxes, appliances, exercise equipment, pianos, and safes with care and efficiency to prevent damage. Movers safely load, transport, and unload items using a 26 foot box truck from the starting location to the final destination.

Clear communication with the dispatch office is required throughout the move to ensure services are completed on time and in line with company procedures. All work must follow company policies and safety standards. Team members are responsible for the correct use of equipment, packing materials, and company vehicles at all times.
